to spooks and spys- Welcome to network 23 If you are a non-friendly person - that is if you are not sympathetic to the position of free thinking, free spirited travelling types then this is the introduction for you - First of all if you are paid to try to find out dodgy information about the underground then this site won't do you much good - Network 23 has never contained information about illegal parties that are about to happen or illegal activities. We are not interested as that would allow the information to fall into the wrong hands. The reasons are obvious - it's just too easy - try again. We are entering a world where all of our transactions and interactions are becoming public knowledge. As our politicians and pops stars have their privacy eroded by intrusive journalists, so do individual citizens. Technology has made it relatively easy for us all to spy on each
other. You're Watching us. We're watching you watching us. Why not choose the latter - there are plenty other things to worry about! Let's just get used to the fact that we are living in each other's pockets and there is no such thing as privacy anymore. Let's move on and focus on other issues like pollution of the environment and getting our power from renewable sources. This site is not about fighting against the currents system. It's about ignoring it and creating other more positive social and economic set ups. Obviously as these become successful then they indirectly challenge the system that is set up at the moment. Traditionally, alternatives to capitalism as they spring up have been suppressed, often violently. We hope that the age of global underground media will make this more difficult to do. Also there's another reason why now is a good time to go for the alternatives. The large scale pyramid selling scheme known as capitalism is reaching the end of it's viable life span. Oil, the cheap source of energy that has provided the central heating for the whole house of cards is going to start to run out pretty soon. We've got say 50 years to come up with some new shit. If we don't we're ALL fucked. It doesn't matter how far up the greasy pole of power you manage to climb, it's not going to mean shit to your kids. So we've got this 50 years of so. How long is going to be we let politicians and corporate power-mungers place their personal profit before the well being of our future generations. Are you worried about Revolution? You are? If you are part of the capitalist establishment then your wealth and privilege are maintained by violence. Violence against indigenous peoples when you want to extract natural resources without their permission, violence against social groups working for real democracy and suffering caused by the all powerful demand for low labour costs. The party is over. Global networks are evolving to fight against
this violence and Oil is running out. We need to stop pissing about with economic over-production and
the problems that irresponsible global economic mismanagement is
causing. At the moment, change is resisted by those with the biggest part
of the pie. But Big Brothers please ask yourselves, what would prefer
to see? If our movement for change is met with resistance and pushed underground then violence and descent into destructive conflict is inevitable. So - if you are part of the powers that be -
